In existence since 2019, we are the driving force connecting Carbondale to The World Health Organization and AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities. “Age-Friendly” means friendly to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. 

OUR MISSION

We work to make Carbondale an ever better place to live for people of all ages and abilities.  We do this by participating  in civic issues, planning, policy development and programming to assure that the aging process is always an important consideration in public decision making.

OUR VISION

A caucus of volunteers encouraging everyone to be visible, vocal and contributing to our town.
